Having obtained an economics degree at Manchester University, Michael qualified as a solicitor in 1977. In 1982 he, together with Godfrey Mellins, established the firm, Levine Mellins & Co, which ultimately merged with Kleinman Klarfeld in 2003 creating the present practice of Levine Mellins Klarfeld.
Michael has always specialised in property work both commercial and residential. In addition, he manages property portfolios and has acquired a wide knowledge of all property related matters.
Beyond the office, Michael is married with two children. His main interests are outdoor activities such as tennis, cycling & rambling. Michael is also involved in charity work and enjoys the theatre and cinema. |

With a London University law degree and having trained with a commercial firm in London W1, Godfrey qualified as a solicitor in 1975. In 1982 he met Michael Levine and together they established Levine Mellins & Co in June of that year. Since then the firm has gradually expanded moving from its original offices in Temple Fortune to Edgware, before the merger with Kleinman Klarfeld in 2003 which established the present practice of Levine Mellins Klarfeld.
Whilst once a general practitioner, Godfrey has for many years specialised in litigation work, both private and commercial, and is the Head of the firm's Litigation Department.
A Past President of the North Middlesex Law Society, Godfrey has always taken a keen interest in professional matters and is the person with whom initial contact should be made in respect of all professional issues.
In his personal life Godfrey is married, has 4 children and works tirelessly towards the day when they will all be self supporting. The holder of a Private Pilots Licence, he has been a keen flyer for many years as well as a motor sports enthusiast and, with his wife and co-pilot Jane, a lover of music, theatre and walking. |

After qualifying in 1978 Tony became a partner in a West End firm. He remained there until 1987 when he joined Kleinman Klarfeld. In 2003 the firm merged with Levine Mellins & Co, to form Levine Mellins Klarfeld.
Tony specialises in family law work of all kinds, with particular focus on financial issues on separation and divorce. He is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and subscribes to its code of practice, which is designed to establish the principle of a constructive approach to family law matters. He was recently involved in the leading Court of Appeal case of Bowman and Fels.
Outside the office, Tony is married with two children. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing 5 a side football and tennis. |

Rohit did his law degree at Lancaster University. He trained in West London and qualified in 1989. He then joined a niche property firm in the City for two years. He worked for some time as the Head of Legal Services at Tower Hamlets Neighbourhood Office before setting up his own practice in 1993 in Mayfair. In 1998 he merged with a local Harrow firm and subsequently joined Levine Mellins Klarfeld in 2004 becoming a Partner in 2005.
Before joining LMK, Rohit was a general practitioner, dealing with a varied caseload. He now specialises in commercial property and general company and commercial work. He acts for a number of corporate and off-shore clients, Plc companies and private developers.
In his personal life Rohit is married with two young children. Outside work, Rohit spends his time with his family and enjoys travelling, reading and the Internet. |

Having completed her secondary education at North London Collegiate School and her law degree at University College London, Elizabeth qualified as a solicitor in 1984. After completing her articles in a west end firm, she joined Michael Levine and Godfrey Mellins in their first practice together, Levine Mellins & Co, in which she became a partner, and has been with them ever since.
Specialising in the area of family law, she has developed a broad based family practice, covering all areas under the family law umbrella - whether for married or unmarried families or same sex couples - from divorce and financial issues, to domestic violence and children disputes. Her practice caters for both private and legally aided clients. She has also trained as a mediator.
Elizabeth is an Accredited Specialist with Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and a member of the Law Society’s Family Panel. She is an examiner for the Resolution Accreditation Scheme and sits on the Resolution Domestic Abuse Committee.
Beyond her life with Levine Mellins Klarfeld, Elizabeth has a passionate interest in theatre, where she is involved with an established amateur theatre company, the Tower Theatre, both on the creative side as a Director, and the practical side as Chair of the Publicity team and as a Stage Manager. She also enjoys travel, scuba diving and rock climbing. |

Stanley was Senior Partner in Kleinman Klarfeld prior to its merger with Levine Mellins & Co., since when he has been a Consultant to the merged practice. He was admitted in 1962 and specialises in commercial property, general commercial work and domestic Conveyancing.
Throughout his career Stanley has been involved with numerous local charities including, at various times, Citizens Advice Bureau, London Borough of Barnet Voluntary Service Council and North West London Community Foundation of which he was Chair for some time.
Stanley is married with three children and lives with his wife Jacqueline in Bushey Heath. His hobbies are music, crosswords, reading, theatre, bridge, walking and travel. |

After graduating in law from Birmingham University, Lynn qualified as a solicitor in 1985. She was a partner in the West End practice of Rabin Leacock Lipman from 1989 until that firm’s dissolution in 1995. Since then, she has been an associate solicitor with Levine Mellins Klarfeld and its predecessor firm Kleinman Klarfeld.
A member of the Law Society Probate Section, Lynn has over 20 years experience in all aspects of Will drafting, Inheritance Act tax planning and probate work.
Lynn also has extensive experience in Enduring Power of Attorney work.
Lynn has always undertaken conveyancing work (both separate from and ancillary to her probate work) and for 15 years she had a substantial matrimonial practice.
This background means that Lynn is able to view any problem from several legal perspectives – probate, property and matrimonial.
As the working mother of two young children, Lynn does not have a great deal of time for outside interests, but she likes to think that one day she will have numerous hobbies! |

After graduating in law from Manchester Polytechnic Lorraine was admitted as a solicitor in 1994. She joined Levine Mellins & Co. in 1994 after qualifying and she has remained with the firm until 2003, when it merged with Kleinman Klarfeld to form Levine Mellins Klarfeld.
Lorraine specialises in family law, including contact/residence disputes, divorce, domestic violence and care proceedings.
Lorraine also does personal injury work.
Outside work, Lorraine enjoys cooking, going to the cinema and reading. |
