Having completed her secondary education at North London Collegiate School and her law degree at University College London, Elizabeth qualified as a solicitor in 1984.

Specialising in the area of family law, she has developed a broad based family practice, covering all areas under the family law umbrella - whether for married or unmarried families or same sex couples - from divorce and financial issues, to domestic violence and children disputes. Her practice caters for both private and legally aided clients.

In addition to conducting a traditional family practice, Elizabeth has trained in ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) and she also practises as a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer and is an active member of the North London and North West London Collaborative Family Law Groups. She is also currently completing her mediation training with a view to developing an in house Family Mediation practice alongside her traditional practice.

Elizabeth is an Accredited Specialist with Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association). She is an examiner for the Resolution Accreditation Scheme and sits on the Resolution Domestic Abuse Committee.

Beyond her life with LMK Law, Elizabeth has an active interest in theatre, and has been involved with an established amateur theatre company, the Tower Theatre, for many years, creatively as a Director, and also in technical and administrative capacities. She also enjoys travel, walking, scuba diving and literature.
